BTC1800 is a range of microprocessor controllers with universal input and PID-autotune control algorithm. BTC1800 controller has up to two relay or current control outputs and up to two alarm relays. Input type and range are user programmable through the front panel keyboard. The available input types include Pt100, thermocouples, standard current, and voltage signals. BTC1800 offers a number of algorithms such as ON/OFF, ON/OFF heating/cooling duplex, motorized valve control, PID, and self-tuning PID. A bumpless auto-manual changeover is built-in the PID algorithm. The start-on timer allows one of output relays to be time-controlled. Two displays (measured value and set point) as well as the output control bar graph make the operator duties easy. BTC1800 is well equipped for trouble-free operation in harsh industrial conditions. The pulse mode switching power supply guarantees normal operation at wide supply voltage variations. The controller is carefully protected from electromagnetic disturbances featuring both input and output optical isolation.
